Fun and fast-moving, this Cabaret showcases your all-time Holiday favorites, performed by Terry and his fellow Girl-Singers in styles that include Swing, Jazz, Country, Gospel and Standards, including “Baby, It’s cold outside”, “White Christmas”, “Christmas in Dixie”, “Chestnuts Roasting”, “Santa Baby”, “I’ll be home for Christmas”, “My favorite Things”, “What a Wonderful World” … and Audience Sing-Alongs too.
PARDON MY SOUTHERN ACCENT
(The life & music of Johnny Mercer, Savannah’s native son)
This show features Mercer’s Life, Lyrics and Songs by Terry, stunning vocals by his Girl-singers, and a short film with Johnny performing with fellow-singers in the 40’s through 60’s, such as Steve Allen, Andy Williams and Nat King Cole. It also features an audience favorite of Terry’s ‘original’ story about Mercer, using only Mercer Song Titles!
GULLAH, GOSPEL & JAZZ
A Southern, lowcountry favorite of early Gullah music, weaving a ‘historical musical tapestry’ of truly African-American music that spans Slavery era hymns to modern Gospel, to Louis Armstrong’s New Orleans jazz, to Classic 60’s Jazz … featuring music, stories & history. All singers, musicians and story-tellers are local, and many are descendants of original lowcountry Gullah families.
